The first models of the Rapala Cuntdown series appeared in 1960. Since then, new color designs have been offered, but the design of this type of wobblers has not changed since they were introduced to the market. The wobblers Rapala Countdown were made from balsa. They are offered in 6 versions length: 2.5 cm, 3 cm, 5 cm, 7 cm, 9 cm and 11 cm. The shortest version, 2.5 cm is armed with one anchor size of 12. The other models are equipped with two anchors with sizes of size up to the length of a wobbler. All Countdowns are drowning woblers. Their topping speed is about 30 cm per second, so it is easy to calculate at what depth the wobler will start working at the start of rolling. There are several techniques for running this bait. The most effective are two techniques. The first is the free wobbler's lead at one depth. The second technique is based on the variable rate of conduct with retention. After stopping Countdown, it drops, starting the curl causes the wobble to float towards the surface, mimicking the behavior of a foraging, small fish. When carrying the bait in the water, Rapala Countdown gently mirrors. His work is well-perceptible on a rod, so that every take is easier to cut. This wobbler is ideal for looting deep pits washed on the shores, under natural and artificial waterfalls and gutters along the bands. On lakes and ponds, it perfectly penetrates steep drops and underwater hills. What fish can be fished on Countdown? Virtually all that can be caught on spinning. For smaller models, they perfectly take trout, clinch, jazie, perch and even flints. Larger wobblers, 7 cm and longer, perfectly do their job with half of the zander, clutches and pike. The offer also includes models with bright colors, characteristic of salmon lids. Among them, we will find effective bait on trout and salmon, both these rivers of Polish Pomerania and Scandinavian, legendary salmonid fishing. The lack of a Rapala Countdown wobbler in a spinning box is hard to imagine.
